I would like to recommend Harold Davis and his entire staff for providing superb technical and customer service related to working on our boat. I have been taking our boat to Harold and his staff for almost 15 years. In all that time I have always been extremely satisfied with the work he has done to our 22 ft Cortez.
I have used my boat to travel in offshore waters with my family on board including my children when they were as young as 5 years old. I have always had absolute confidence in doing so knowing that my vessel has received thorough reliable service and maintenance. My service experience at Harold’s shop has included everything from routine fluid changes to fiberglass work to replacing my gas engine that was literally worn out with excessive reliable engine running time.Never have a doubt that if you have any issues with any boat, Harold is the guy to see, he is a man with total knowledge , integrity, and competency . Those are traits that are difficult to find now a days. I could include many more positive comments, but will keep this short… ask any Davis Boat owner about his superb service.

Candy & I first met Harold at the San Francisco boat show in 1995. His
boats were boxy and she wanted a smoother line, so we left. 1996, same boat show, different attitude, wow Larry, look at these Davis boats! Two days later we both went to Morro Bay for a closer look, only find our names already on the construction list for May delivery. So at that point Candy is excited, and we ordered a 22ft Wheelhouse and took delivery that May. We ran the 22 for 10 years and now have a Rock Harbor Short Cabin. The Davis Boats experience as given us new friends, expanded our boating travels from Canada to Mexico, and has made Candy my best fishing partner. It is sad to see the Davis Boats line change hands, but my guess is that only the glass shop will change.Marine equipment requires maintenance, new or used, and we have had
our share of experiences. It’s a 6 hour tow from our home in Geyserville to Paso Robles so we can’t run to the shop for routine oil changes but anything serious gets the tow. In the course of the last 16 years we have had one repower, outdrive work, upgrades, contaminated diesel, a failed alternator that left us stranded in Ensenada, (don’t get Corrosion X on the pickup brushes) and a whole list of other issues. Harold and his crew always did great work for us when we made the tow to his shop. After all it’s the same guys that built the boat in the first place, they aren’t trying to figure out anything, they already know. I don’t look forward to the long drive, but I know where I have to go if I have a problem.Larry & Candy Cadd – Bahia 25 and Short Cabin Rock Harbor 25
